This is our own personal home project — a place we are building slowly, carefully, and with our own hands. The work is still underway, and because of that we have included conceptual images that express our design intentions and the atmosphere we hope to create once the project is complete. These visuals are not polished marketing material; they are honest representations of the vision that keeps us moving forward.

The project began in 2020 with the restoration of a rural stone building dating from around 1880. What started as a modest idea quickly became a long-term commitment, shaped by the realities of part‑time construction, limited hours, and the everyday responsibilities of family and work. Every stage — from stabilising the old structure to reimagining the interior — has required patience, resourcefulness, and a willingness to learn by doing.

Because this is a DIY effort, every piece of progress carries the weight of personal investment. The work is carried out by ourselves, often in evenings, weekends, and whatever spare moments life allows. It is slow, sometimes painstaking, but deeply meaningful. The building has become a companion of sorts: something we return to again and again, adding small pieces of progress that accumulate into transformation.

This project is built with love, dedication, and sacrifice. It reflects not only the restoration of an old stone cottage, but the creation of a home shaped by intention — a place where history, craft, and family life meet. The journey has been long, and it continues, but the result will be a space that carries our effort in every detail.
